Polymeric Sanding

Polymeric sand is what holds your interlocking pavers together. It fills the joints, hardens with water, and stops everything that wants to ruin your hardscape, weeds, ants, water erosion, shifting stones.

Over time, regular sand washes out. The joints turn into weed gardens. Ants colonize the gaps. Pavers start to wobble. By the time you notice, half the joints are empty. We take it back to day one, strip the old sand out, lay new polymeric sand in, activate it, and lock the surface in place for years.

    Pressure wash the surface. Let it dry. Lay polymeric sand. Activate with a fine water mist so it cures in place.

How much does it cost?

It depends on square footage, surface type and condition, so we quote on site. The visit is free and the price is fixed before we start.

Will pressure washing damage my pavers, siding, or deck?

No. We match pressure and technique to the surface - soft-wash for siding and wood, higher pressure for concrete and stone. Nothing gets cleaned at a pressure it can't take.

How long does polymeric sanding last?

Properly installed polymeric sand lasts 5-10 years depending on traffic, weather, and how the surface is maintained. Pressure-washing the surface once a year keeps the joints clean and extends their life.

How does payment work?

A small deposit locks your service date, and the balance is due on completion - after we've walked the finished job with you. E-transfer, card or cheque.

Can you work in the rain?

Pressure washing is fine in light rain. Polymeric sanding needs a dry surface and a dry window to cure, so we reschedule those to the next clear day and confirm with you.
